Welcome to Zeeba Daycare Royal Arsenal, Woolwich

Zeeba Daycare Royal Arsenal is a private day care nursery which is situated on the ground floor of East Carriage House within the Berkeley Homes Estate in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

We are open full-time from 8:00am – 6:00pm caring for children from 3 months to 5 years.

Our philosophy is that every child we care for deserves a calm, caring, safe and stimulating environment in which to learn.

Taking care of our staff’s wellbeing is of prime importance to us and we are proud to have been voted the 14th best place to work in the whole of the UK.

We adhere to our registration on the Ofsted Early Years Register. This monitors the overall quality standards of the early years provision in line with the principles and requirements of the ‘Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage’.

We are now closed until
Monday 23rd November

Please call me on 020 3247 4770 or 07951 796599 to find out more about our nursery or to book a visit.
Best wishes from Angela and the Zeeba Royal Arsenal Nursery Team.

We are pleased to report that the majority of our children have now returned to Nursery following the relaxation of social distancing measures by Government.  We recognise that this is a continues to be a worrying and confusing time for parents of young children and that some of the information in the media may add to your concerns.

The Nursery is satisfied, having completed our own comprehensive risk assessment, that it is as safe as possible for our children to return and for our Nursery to remain open, but we are alert to the ongoing risks.

We have reached this conclusion after careful examination of the data at a local level, a detailed reopening plan based on advice from Public Health England (PHE) and an evaluation of the risk to our staff, based on their health and household risk factors.

The UK Chief Medical Officers have issued a statement on education and childcare reopening which states that there is a very low rate of severe disease in children from coronavirus (COVID-19).

However, we thought it would be helpful to provide you with additional information on the more localised picture.

LEARNING
Our main aim is to provide a secure and happy environment where children can learn through play.
SETTLING IN
Your first settling in sessions will give you and your child an opportunity to get to know your child’s Key Person.
OUTDOORS
The Nursery boasts a large, enclosed garden which includes a Forest School area and large canopy, meaning we are able to offer children daily opportunities for outdoor learning including physical activity, sand and water play, and Forest School.
FOOD
Our menus are designed by the nursery chef and a paediatric dietician to meet the needs of each age group.
“Thank you so much for looking after our little girl. You have all helped her grow and learn. We are so proud of her. You all do a wonderful job and she will miss you very much.”
“You’re all amazing and I commend you all highly. Thank you for caring for my baby!”
“Your love, support and caring natures have truly shaped my daughter into a confident and independent 20 month old toddler.”
“I would like to thank you for having my daughter for the past few years. You have, over this time, exceeded my expectations.”

Above and Beyond Educational Experiences

We offer a range of unique educational experiences which enable children to become successful, lifelong learners including:

  • Wake up and shake up – an activity to energise the brain using cross-lateral movements
  • Community visits which allow children to experience social activities outside the nursery setting
  • A range of bespoke activities which promote your child’s well-being and confidence, including Emotions Boxes and Chatterboxes
  • Garden Champions (RHS School Awards Levels 1, 2 & 3) – our gardening activity which is supported by the Royal Horticultural Society’s School Gardening Awards training programme.
